WeddingsOnline.ie is proud to host the second WeddingsOnline.ie Awards following the successful programme run in 2010. The awards honour and celebrate excellence in Irish weddings. They are open to Irish wedding professionals who continually go the extra mile for brides and grooms and who have a proven commitment to outstanding customer service. The Top 150 shortlist will be published by WeddingsOnline.ie, from which the winners will be selected.

This year we have introduced some exciting new elements! Firstly, all entrants receive a ‘mystery shopper’ report provided by leading market research firm Direction Research. Direction Research personnel will be making enquiries to your business by a combination of telephone and email . The report will be invaluable to your business to assess the areas that are delivering excellent service as well as highlighting any areas for improvement.

We’ve also introduced some new categories. Exclusive Venue of the Year is open to all new venues that are now hosting weddings, such as country houses, restaurants, sports and public amenities (for example Dublin Zoo). Wedding Planner of the Year is open to all independent wedding planners not working or based in a hotel. Bridal Hair Stylist of the Year, Wedding Musician of the Year, Wedding Entertainer of the Year and Bridal Accessories Supplier of the Year are all additional new categories added this year.

Entries to the 2011 Awards are open to all suppliers, whether registered with WeddingsOnline.ie or not, in the 32 counties. Suppliers enter themselves directly and are then voted on by the brides of WeddingsOnline.ie.
Entries cost €75 + VAT.

The WeddingsOnline.ie Awards 2011 is run in tandem with our annual Conference, which will also be held on 14 February 2011 in the same venue. Save the date!

The Process:

• Suppliers enter by filling in the online form here. Entries close on Friday, 5 November 2010.
• The full list of entrants is then opened for voting on 15 November 2010 by the brides of WeddingsOnline.ie to select their favourite wedding suppliers
• Voting closes on Friday, 10 December 2010
• The Top 150 suppliers will be selected based on the number of votes received and will be published on 17 December 2010
• All shortlisted suppliers on the Top 150 list will be reviewed by the judges.
• The winners in each category, as well as the overall winners, will be selected based on a combination of the judges scoring, the mystery shopper report and an evaluation of your online presence.
• Winners will be announced at a special WeddingsOnline.ie awards ceremony on February 14th 2011.

• Entries to the WeddingsOnline.ie Awards are open to all suppliers, whether registered with WeddingsOnline.ie or not, in the 32 counties of Ireland.
• Suppliers may enter multiple categories.
• Each voter is allowed one vote per category. Multiple votes by the same person will be discarded.
• Monetary (and voucher) rewards for votes will result in disqualification.
• WeddingsOnline.ie may, at its discretion, change the award category for which any nomination is made.
• The judging process is confidential and details are not shared with the public or entrants.
• The entrant and the voter give all consents necessary to WeddingsOnline.ie to produce publicity material based on the entries, endorsement and judging report, which may be used in any form in the media worldwide.
• All material submitted as part of any entry and the copyright thereof, shall become the property of WeddingsOnline.ie.
