Gavin Duffy

Gavin Duffy is an Entrepreneur, Media Coach and is Dragon's Den Presenter. In 1989 Gavin set up the country’s first licensed provincial local radio station, LMFM, after working for some years in RTE presenting various programmes including Ireland’s first television business programme, “Marketplace”.

In 2004, LMFM was sold to UTV for €11 million. In 1992 he founded his Media Consultancy business Dorland which owns www.mediatraining.ie. Dorland is the leading consultancy helping Senior Executives to communicate their business messages internally and externally.

He also successfully invested in a number of companies and start ups and remains part owner of the HRM Group of Companies, one Ireland’s biggest players in recruitment.
     
     
 
Tara Fay

Tara Fay was one of the first professional wedding planners in Ireland. She trained with top event company S&R originals in Los Angeles prior to setting up Xena Productions Ltd in 1997. Xena Productions has twice been nominated for Gala Awards for weddings at the Special Events Conference in the United States (the Oscars of the Special Events Industry).
In January 2010 Tara was presented with a gala award for the best wedding in 2009, becoming the first European company ever to win this accolade.

Voted "Ireland's Premier Wedding Planner" by Social & Personal in 1997, Tara has produced weddings and events throughout Europe and also in the USA and Caribbean.

She is currently Chairperson of the Irish Chapter of the International Special Events Society and is country co-ordinator for the Association of Bridal Consultants in Ireland.
Xena Productions have produced over 1000 weddings and 500 events in the past 14 years and continue to set the standard within the industry.
 
   
 
Bláithín O'Reilly Murphy

Wedding planner and author, Bláithín is one of Ireland’s premier wedding personalities. Bláithín's first Wedding Planning book, entitled  Tying the Knot without the Rope Burns was published in 2008. Her internationally sold book has helped thousands of brides plan and create their dream wedding. Bláithín is also a guest lecturer and speaker at the Fitzwilliam Institute, where she lectures about wedding planning. She will bring her insiders knowledge and wealth of wedding experience to the judging panel.
     
 
Ian Dodson

Ian is Managing Director of WebKitchen.ie, a Web Design Firm he founded in 2005. He has over 15 year experience in both IT and Sales having worked for SAP and Oracle Consulting.  Ian specialises in strategic guidance for organisations bringing products to market through the internet and has been instrumental in the growth of some ground breaking online businesses including with WeddingsOnline.ie as a co-founder and director. He is a graduate of the University of Limerick and is a regular lecturer and speaker on web based business.
     
 
Karen Birney

Karen is the Features Editor of B Magazine and WeddingsOnline.ie, and has spent the last two years reporting on the ins and outs of Ireland’s vast wedding industry. Karen authors a popular blog on WeddingsOnline.ie and always has a hand on the pulse of Irish brides. With a background in fashion and styling, Karen will bring her eye for quality to the panel.
